Asset Details

The Asset Details page provides a comprehensive view of any asset in Tenovos, allowing you to explore its attributes, associated metadata, and security settings in one central location. This page features a larger preview of the asset, alongside details such as the file name/title, metadata, and the applied security templates. Additionally, it offers a range of actions that you can perform, such as adding the asset to your cart, downloading, sharing, and creating transformations.

If you have the Edit Metadata privilege, you can also view and modify the metadata template associated with the asset. This template dictates the specific metadata that are applied to the asset, ensuring that the asset is properly categorized and organized.

This guide introduces the Asset Details page and its various options. This includes instructions for opening the page and how to view a full-screen version of an asset.

View Asset Details​

To open Asset Details for an asset, click its preview image anywhere it appears in Tenovos—for example, in the Content gallery, in Search results, in a Collection, or in the Cart.

Full-screen asset view​

You can view a full-screen version of your Tenovos image, video, and PDF assets.

  • To view an image in full-screen, go to the Asset Details page and click the image preview. A high resolution (3000x3000) version will open. To exit, click anywhere on the screen or press Esc.
  • For videos, click the full-screen icon overlay to view in full-screen. Pres Esc to exit.
  • To view a PDF in full-screen, click the full-screen icon in the PDF task bar. To exit, click your brower's Back button.

Asset Details page overview​

The Asset Details page contains the following items:

  • Search field. Search the repository for a specific asset. The results are displayed in the Content gallery.
  • Back < . Return to where you accessed the asset—the Content gallery, a saved Search, a Collection, or the Cart.
  • Asset thumbnail. A visual preview that lets you browse through assets using the Previous and Next buttons, without having to shift your focus from the task bar to a larger preview below.
  • File name/title. The asset's file name. If a title is provided for the asset, it will be displayed instead of the file name.
  • Rotate . Move the preview image counterclockwise and view it from a 90, 180, or 270 degree angle.
  • Version history. View previous and current versions of the asset.
  • Previous < and Next > . Navigate through the assets related to the asset you're viewing. These assets will come from the Content gallery, from a saved Search, a Collection, or the Cart, depending on where you accessed the asset you're viewing.
  • Asset Details tasks. Quick access to tasks that you can generally also complete elsewhere in Tenovos such as Add to Cart, Download, and Share. For more details, see Asset Details tasks.
  • Asset Preview. A larger view of the image, video, or audio asset. Click the preview to see it in full-screen.
  • Expand/Collapse All. Display or hide all metadata groups.
  • Hide Empty Fields. Hide or display fields with no metadata.
  • Security Templates. The security settings applied to the asset.
  • Metadata. (Varies.) The metadata associated with the asset, as determined by the applied metadata template. It is displayed in expandable groups of related information. The metadata you see is controlled by your privileges and the asset's permissions.
  • System Metadata and Technical Information. These categories are standard across all assets and are read-only.
  • Asset Details tabs. Tabs that apply to the asset you are viewing, including Search Results, Duplicate Files, and Relationships. For more details see Asset Details tabs.

Asset Details tasks​

The Asset Details task bar provides quick access to tasks that you can generally complete elsewhere in Tenovos—for example, Add to Cart, Download, and Share.

Your privileges and the asset you are viewing determine the tasks that are available to you. They may include some or all of the following and others that are not listed:

Asset Details tabs​

The lower portion of the Asset Details page shows Search Results, with thumbnail previews of assets related to the asset you're viewing. These results will come from the Content gallery, from a saved Search, a Collection, or the Cart, depending on where you accessed the asset you're viewing.

If enabled, you may also see tabs that apply to the asset you are viewing, including Duplicate Files and Relationships.
