Asset Details (NEW!)
The Asset Details page provides a comprehensive view of any asset in Tenovos. The Tenovos asset details page allows you to easily explore the asset's metadata, versions, relationships, duplicates, related collections and event history in one central location. This page features a larger preview of the asset, alongside details such as the file name/title, metadata, and the applied security templates. Additionally, it offers a range of actions that you can perform, such as adding the asset to your cart, downloading, sharing, and creating transformations.
If you have the Edit Metadata privilege, you can also view and modify the metadata associated with the asset. This template dictates the specific metadata that are applied to the asset.
This guide introduces the Asset Details page and its various options. This includes instructions for opening the page and how to view a full-screen version of an asset.

View Asset Details
To open Asset Details for an asset, click its preview image anywhere it appears in Tenovos—for example, in the Content gallery, in Search results, in a Collection, or in the Cart.
Full-screen asset view
You can view a full-screen version of your Tenovos image, video, and PDF assets.
- To view an image in full-screen, go to the Asset Details page and hover your mouse over the asset details page asset preview - a tool bar will show up at the bottom of the preview. Within the tool bar, click the expand icon to show the full page image. A high resolution (3000x3000) version will open. To exit, click anywhere on the screen or press Esc.
- For videos, click the full-screen icon overlay to view in full-screen. Pres Esc to exit.
- To view a PDF in full-screen, click the full-screen icon in the PDF task bar. To exit, click your brower's Back button.
Asset Details page overview
The Asset Details - page contains the following items:

Close [X] - Return to where you accessed the asset—the Content gallery, a saved Search, a Collection, or the Cart. When accessing the asset details page from a gallery view, your scroll position will be retained when closing out of the asset details page, bringing you right back to where you were when browsing content.

File name/title - The asset's file name. If a title is provided for the asset, it will be displayed instead of the file name.

Asset Details tasks - Quick access to tasks that can be completed from the asset details page. For more details, see Asset Details tasks.

Asset Information Menu - A selection made in the asset information menu will determine the information that is shown in the asset information panel on the right side of the asset details page. Only options available for that asset will show as available in the menu. Example: If the asset does not have any relationships, the 'Relationships' tab will show as disabled.
The asset information menu allows users to choose whether they are viewing the asset's:
- Metadata: The metadata associated with the asset. It is displayed in expandable groups of related information. The metadata you see is controlled by your privileges and the asset's permissions.
- Versions:View and manage versions of the asset being viewed.
- Duplicates: View assets that are duplicates of the asset being viewed. Learn more about duplicates here
- Relationships: View assets that are related to the asset being viewed. Learn more about relationships here
- Collections: View collections that the asset being viewed is in.
- Rights: View Rights Projects and Agreements that are associated to the asset being viewed.
- History: View event history that has happened to the asset being viewed. This menu item is controlled by a Security Template permission - users who do not have this permission for the security template assigned to the asset will not be able to view asset history.Learn how to view an asset's history.

Asset Preview - A larger view of the image, video, or audio asset displayed on the left side of the asset details page. Users can choose to make this preview larger or smaller by moving the slider between the asset preview and the Asset Information Panel. There are two ways to move the slider:
- The user can click the arrows on the left and right side of the slider to push the slider all the way to the left or all the way to the right.
- The user can manually update the position of the slider by hovering over the slider and clicking and dragging the slider to the desired position.

Asset Information Panel - The Asset Information panel is displayed on the right side of the asset details page and will display information related to the menu item that is selected in the Asset Information Menu. Users can choose to make this panel larger or smaller by moving the slider between the asset preview and the Asset Information Panel.

Asset Tool Bar - Surfaced when hovering over the asset preview, the tool bar allows users to:
- View System Metadata and Technical Information on the asset.
- Rotate the asset.
- Zoom In/Out on the asset preview
- View Image in Full Screen
Asset Details tasks
Common actions such as downloading and sharing will display as buttons, and secondary actions such as Manage Collections and Create a Version will be collapsed into the context menu.
Your privileges and the asset you are viewing determine the tasks that are available to you. They may include some or all of the following and others that are not listed:

Download. Download a copy of the original version to your browser's configured download folder.

Transformations. Transform the asset.

Add to Cart. Add the asset to the Cart.

Share. Share the asset internally or externally.

Edit Photo. Open the Creative Editor to modify the asset.

Manage Collections. Manage the collections to which the asset belongs.

Manage Relationships. For a parent asset, manage its children and derivatives.

Create Version. Create a new version of the asset.

Replace Preview. Replace the asset preview.

Clone Asset. Clone the asset's content and metadata into a new asset.

Export Metadata. You can export the metadata of one or more assets or export metadata of all assets.

Delete. Move the asset to the Recycle Bin.
Using the Asset Information Panel
The Asset Information panel is displayed on the right side of the asset details page and will display information related to the menu item that is selected in the Asset Information Menu.
Metadata
When Metadata is selected in the asset information menu, the asset information panel will display the metadata and metadata actions of the asset being viewed.
Using the Metadata Information Panel
1. Metadata Tools
- Metadata tools allow users to perform a variety of metadata related actions, such as:
- Hide/Show Empty Fields: Easily narrow down to view only populated metadata attributes by hiding empty fields, or see all metadata attributes by showing empty fields.
- Copy Metadata: Copy metadata to your clipboard so it is available to paste to other assets.
- Paste Metadata: Paste the metadata currently activated in your clipboard to this asset. (Paste will only be visible if metadata has been copied to the user's clipboard)
- Edit Metadata: Edit the values associated to that asset's metadata attributes. (Edit will only be visible if the user has 'Edit Metadata' permission on the security template assigned to the asset)
- Expand Collapse Groups: Easily expand all metadata groups so metadata can be easily scanned, or collapse all groups to show less metadata.
2. Security Templates
- Easily view the Security Templates assigned to the asset.
3. Metadata Attributes
- Easily view the metadata the asset has been tagged with. The metadata associated with the asset is determined by the applied metadata template. It is displayed in expandable groups of related information. The metadata you see is controlled by your privileges and the asset's permissions.
Versions
When Versions is selected in the asset information menu, the asset information panel will display versions of the asset being viewed.
Using the Versions Information Panel
1. Compare Versions
- Compare Versions allows users to compare asset versions on a pixel-by-pixel basis, providing full clarity on content history. Click here to learn more about how to compare asset versions.
2. Version Details
- For every version an asset has, there will be a record in the Versions Information Panel. This is where you can view all relevant information of a version, as well as perform some quick actions like promoting and deleting versions. When navigating between versions, the version currently being viewed will have a blue check in the top left hand corner of the thumbnail.
- 2a. Version Number
- 2b. Version File Name
- 2c. Version Created Date
- 2d. Version Quick Actions
- Easily promote or delete previous versions of an asset without having to navigate to the asset details page of that version. These actions will only appear for previous versions of an asset - the Latest version of the asset will show 'Latest' in place of quick actions.
Duplicates
When Duplicates is selected in the asset information menu, the asset information panel will display duplicates of the asset being viewed.
Using the Duplicates Information Panel
1. Duplicate Details
- For every duplicate an asset has, there will be a record in the Duplicates Information Panel. This is where you can view all relevant information of a duplicate, as well as delete duplicates.
- 1a. Duplicate File Name
- 1b. Duplicate Created Date
- 1c. Duplicate Quick Actions
- Easily delete/restore duplicates of an asset without having to navigate to the asset details page of those duplicates. The latest duplicate (duplicate uploaded most recent) of the asset will show 'Latest' next to the quick actions.
Relationships
When Relationships is selected in the asset information menu, the asset information panel will display assets related to the asset being viewed.
Using the Relationships Information Panel
1. Relationship Type Menu
- The Relationship Type menu allows users to easily view the relationships of an asset by relationship type.
2. Relationship Details
- For every Relationship an asset has, there will be a record in the Relationships Information Panel. This is where you can view all relevant information of a relationship, as well as unlink/re-link relationships.
- 2a. Relationship File Name
- 2b. Relationship Created Date
- 2c. Relationship Quick Actions
- Easily unlink/re-link relationships of an asset without having to navigate to the 'Manage Relationships' interface.
Collections
When Collections is selected in the asset information menu, the asset information panel will display collections that the asset being viewed is a part of.
Using the Collections Information Panel
1. Collection Details
- For every Collection an asset is in, there will be a record in the Collections Information Panel. This is where you can view high-level information on the Collections the asset is in.

Rights
When Rights is selected in the asset information menu, the asset information panel will display rights management projects assigned to the asset being viewed. More information on Rights Management can be found here.
History
When History is selected in the asset information menu, the asset information panel will display the event history of the asset being viewed.
Using the Asset History Panel
1. Asset History Filters
- The Asset History filters allow users to easily filter events based on:
- 1a. Event Type Filter: Leverage this filter to locate asset events by event type.
- 1b. Event Date Filter: Leverage this filter to locate asset events within a specific time frame
2. Asset History Log
- The asset history log will show you a complete list of asset-specific events that have happened for the asset being viewed.
- For each event in the asset history log, you will see atleast the following information:
- Even: Event Type
- Date/Time: When the event happened
- Created By: Who initiated the event
- For specific event types, there will be additional details surfaced in the Asset History Log. To see these additional details, click the 'expand' indicator (if present) on the right side of the event record.
- For example, for Asset Metadata Update events, users can see additional information such as the attribute that was updated, what the attribute value was changed from and what the attribute value was changed to.
