Product Update

Production: September 18, 2025​

This Product Update provides a summary of changes and enhancements to the existing application that impact all customers. When applicable, it includes changes to functionality that were made to resolve customer-specific issues and that apply to all Tenovos users.

Unless otherwise stated, the availability of each update is as follows:

  • UAT: September 15, 2025
  • Production: September 18, 2025

General UI Enhancements​

Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers

  • Additional updates have been made to buttons in the web UI to adhere to the Tenovos design system, resulting in a more consistent and cohesive user experience.
  • Updates to the secondary navigation have been made to adhere to the Tenovos design system. Instead of seeing all secondary icons, users will now see 'Upload', 'Jobs' and 'Cart'. All other icons will be collapsed into a context menu.

Upload UI Enhancements​

Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers

  • When uploading up to 100 assets, a small preview will now populate next to all image files, making it easier to identify the assets that have been staged for upload.

REST API​

Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers

A new API endpoint, GET /asset/{id}/history, has been added to API Version 1.5 that allows users to retrieve asset history by asset ID.

  • Users will be able to retrieve asset history for assets for which they have the 'View History' security permission.

Enhancements and Quality Improvements​

  • Resolved an issue where video asset previews were not being correctly displayed in the search results carousel of legacy Asset Details Page.
  • Resolved an issue where video asset previews were not being correctly displayed in the 'Manage Relationships' page.
  • Resolved an issue where the tile section navigation on the home page was not navigating the user to the correct tile section.
  • Resolved an issue where replace preview was not functioning correctly from gallery view.
  • Resolved an issue where user accounts creted via self registration would occasionally fail.
  • Resolved an issue where filtering on dates was pulling in assets uploaded outside of the selected date range.
  • Resolved an issue where badges were not displaying as expected.
  • Resolved an issue where navigating away from the new asset details page while editing metadata would not prompt you with a message that metadata edits could be lost.
  • Resolved an issue where users would have trouble scrolling to the top of the page when using Tenovos Connect.
  • Resolved an issue where assets requiring upload approval that were uploaded through the UI or through Bulk Operations would result in a single upload request getting created for each asset. The expected functionality would be that a single upload request gets created for every 250 assets uploaded.
