This Product Update summarizes the changes and enhancements that impact all customers. Unless otherwise noted, each update below is available to All Enterprise DAM customers.

Story Boards Enhancements

Newenhanced

We're excited to roll out a major update to Story Boards. This release adds new ways to build and manage boards, and makes the day to day experience faster, more predictable, and more consistent with the rest of the platform, all based on customer feedback.

New Capabilities​

  • Duplicate a Story Board to reuse an existing setup instead of rebuilding similar boards from scratch, saving time when launching campaigns or projects that follow a familiar pattern.
  • Translate board and block titles and descriptions, powered by AI, so the same board can be distributed across markets without manual rework.
  • Add multiple Story Blocks at once, instead of one at a time, speeding up board setup.
  • Add additional Story Blocks inline between previously created blocks, reducing reliance on having to reorder Story Board content.
  • Delete multiple Story Boards at once to clean up faster.
  • Custom asset badges are now supported on Story Boards asset cards, bringing the same visual cues you rely on elsewhere in the platform into Story Boards.
  • Reposition the Story Board banner image so the most important part of the image stays in view.
  • More image types are now supported for banners, giving you more flexibility in how a board is presented.
  • Bulk remove assets from a Story Block in a single action, with clear in-progress and success feedback.

Enhancements​

  • Board actions such as creating, deleting, restoring, publishing, and editing block details now reflect in real time, without needing to refresh the page.
  • Story Boards workflows for search, sharing, banner selection, adding content, editing security, and reordering blocks now use drawers instead of pop-up modals, for a smoother experience that keeps you in context.
  • Asset cards inside Story Blocks now match the styling of Gallery asset cards, so the experience feels consistent wherever you're working.
  • Board cards on the Board List page are wider and easier to scan, showing separate counts for Collections and Saved Searches, the language of the Story Board, and the board creator's avatar.
  • Searching within a board is now clearly separated from searching within an individual block, with better result readability and clearer context under each result.
  • Block content updates are more reliable and immediate: titles update correctly after content changes, block order is preserved, and large blocks scroll more smoothly.
  • Asset and banner pickers are more accurate and easier to use, with correct counts, clearer filtering of content already added to a board, and images limited to those that meet the banner criteria, so choosing the right image takes less trial and error.
