Product Update

Production: August 25, 2025​

This Product Update provides a summary of changes and enhancements to the existing application that impact all customers. When applicable, it includes changes to functionality that were made to resolve customer-specific issues and that apply to all Tenovos users.

Unless otherwise stated, the availability of each update is as follows:

  • UAT: August 19, 2025
  • Production: August 25, 2025
  • Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers

General UI Enhancements​

Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers

  • Updates have been made to buttons in the web UI to adhere to the Tenovos design system, resulting in a more consistent and cohesive user experience. This supports our usability and accessibility goals by reducing cognitive load and guiding users through tasks with clarity and intent.
  • Updates have been made to the in-app notifications to adhere to the Tenovos design system, resulting in a consistent look and feel. Additionally, users can now close out of in-app messages, enhancing usability.
  • Updates have been made to loading indicators to adhere to the Tenovos designn system.
  • The drop-shadow has been removed from beneath the Top Navigation Menu to adhere to the Tenovos design system.
  • The banner displayed when impersonating a user has been moved to the top of the page, below the navigation menu, as well as been updated with new styling. This was done in effort to adhere to the Tenovos design system, as well as avoid scenarios where this banner was blocking UI actions.
  • The system entitlement banner has been updated with new styling, as well as updated to display as orange instead of blue to indicate a 'Warning' style message.
  • Updates have been made to all toggle switch elements to adhere to the Tenovos design system.

Home Page​

Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers The following changes have been made to the home page as part of this product update:

  • The welcome message, when enabled, will now appear centrally beneath the search bar to enhance accessibility and align with responsive design best practices.
  • We have updated the home page banner specifications (2400 x 580 pixels), supplemented with a refreshed gradient overlay for a more pleasant viewing and browsing experience.
  • Collection and tile names are always clearly displayed at the top of the collection/tile—eliminating the need to hover and ensuring instant clarity as users navigate your content.
  • An intuitive new anchor navigation has been added to the left side of the page when viewing 'Tiles' - designed to help you find what you need faster than ever.
  • Content will now dynamically size based on the amount of content in that row to ensure proper utilization of UI space.
  • To deliver a seamless and unified experience throughout the platform, tile sections will now remain open by default and cannot be collapsed, making it easier than ever to view your content at a glance.

[BETA] Asset Details Page Redesign​

Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers as a Beta feature.

  • As part of this product update, we are thrilled to announce the beta-availability of the newly redsigned asset details page, complete with Permission-based Asset History. In addition to a brand-new look and feel, some additional enhancements include:

    • Asset History: Backed by a new security permission, asset history allows users to see all events that have happened to an asset directly from the asset details page.
    • Version Compare: Compare asset versions to find differences on a pixel-by-pixel level
    • A separate interface for viewing the System and Technical Metadata of the asset, providing a clear distinction between this information and custom metadata.
    • Easily view the collections the asset is part of.

    With this update to the asset details page, the URL of the asset details page will change slightly. However, if for some reason an old asset details page link is clicked with the new asset details page enabled, users will be properly routed to the new experience. Please be sure to update any integrations that may be leveraging the Asset Details Page URL in its existing syntax.

[BETA] Grid View Redesign​

Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers as a Beta feature.

  • As part of this product update, we are excited to release a new version of grid view as beta-available. Some enhancements to the new grid view include:
    • Moving the filename and created date of the asset to the top of the asset card to allow for quicker scannability.
    • Displaying the configured Asset Details Page Background Color as the asset card background, allowing users to easily see the aspect ratio of their asset, regardless of if the background is transparent.

Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers as a Beta feature.

  • As part of this product update, we are excited to release a new version of Collection Gallery as beta-available. Some enhancements to the new collection gallery include:
    • Moving the collection name and details of the collection to the top of the collection card to allow for quicker scannability.
    • A user can now see how many assets are available for them to view within the collection.
    • A new and improved way for users to see if the collection is private or shared.

This feature will be automatically enabled in UAT. Please contact the Tenovos Customer Success team to enable this feature in Production

Enhancements and Quality Improvements​

  • Resolved an issue where users without the replace preview permission could replace the preview on a collection.
  • Resolved an issue where banner style images with transparent backgrounds would generate a preview with a black background.
  • Resolved an issue where certain users logging in through SSO would not initially see branding configurations.
  • Resolved an issue where unapplied changes would sporadically not successfully apply.
  • Resolved an issue where multi-select dropdowns would not expand on the first click when entering metadata.
  • Resolved an issue where the last row of content was cut-off in gallery view.
  • Resolved an issue where an asset uploaded to a template that would otherwise create an upload request would not do so via the API.
