Creative Editor
Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers subscribed to Creative Editor
-
Two additional save options have been added to Creative Editor.
- Save to Local Storage: Enables users to save their newly edited content directly to their machine.
- Save as New Version: Enables users to save their newly edited content as a new version of the content they originally edited.
-
Role Based Access Control
- As part of this product update, all save options within Creative Editor are controlled by Role Based Access Control. Previously, a user who had the Creative Editor role privilege was allowed to perform all save options, regardless of their role privileges or asset level permissions. Now, the user will only see save options that are available based on their role privileges and asset level permissions.
- In order to:
- Save to DAM, a user must have the 'Upload' role privilege.
- Save and Relate, a user must have the 'Upload' role privilege, as well as the 'Relationships' security template permission on the selected asset.
- Save as New Version, a user must have the 'Upload' role privilege, as well as the 'Version Asset' security template permission on the selected asset.
- Save to Local Storage, a user must have the 'Download' role privilege, as well as the 'Download' security template permission on the selected asset.
-
Common Aspect Ratio Presets
-
A new Common Crops section has been added to the Creative Editor. This enhancement allows users to easily crop assets using a set of predefined aspect ratios, improving efficiency in asset editing.

[BETA] Metadata Copy and Paste
Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers as a Beta feature.
We’ve just made managing metadata even easier! With our new Metadata Copy and Paste feature, users can now quickly copy metadata from one asset and apply it to one or more other assets with just a few clicks.
Use Case:
Working with a batch of similar product images or campaign assets? Instead of manually re-entering metadata for each file—such as tags, descriptions, usage rights, or campaign info—you can now copy it from one asset and instantly apply it to the rest. This helps ensure consistency, saves time, and reduces the risk of manual errors.
This feature will be automatically enabled in UAT. Please contact the Tenovos Customer Success team to enable Metadata Copy and Paste in Production
[BETA] Seamless Asset Ingest
Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers as a Beta feature.
We’ve streamlined the upload process with our new Seamless Asset Ingest feature—designed for speed, simplicity, and smarter asset management.
Now, users can upload content by simply dragging and dropping files onto the Home Page or Content Gallery, without needing to manually assign metadata or security template(s). This is especially helpful in cases where the uploader may not know the appropriate metadata or security template(s) for the content.
How it works:
Admins can now create Asset Presets—rules that automatically apply specific metadata and security templates based on the uploader’s role. For example, if a user with the role Content Contributor drags and drops files onto the Home Page, the assets will be automatically uploaded with the correct metadata and securiity based on the preset assigned to that role.
Use Case:
Let’s say your photography team frequently uploads social content, but the uploaders aren’t familiar with the existing metadata and security structure. With Seamless Content Ingest, admins can ensure these assets are consistently and correctly ingested—without requiring extra steps from the user.
This feature will be automatically enabled in UAT. Please contact the Tenovos Customer Success team to enable Seamless Asset Ingest in Production
