Product Update

This Product Update provides a summary of changes and enhancements to the existing application that impact all customers. When applicable, it includes changes to functionality that were made to resolve customer-specific issues and that apply to all Tenovos users.

Unless otherwise stated, the availability of each update is as follows:

[BETA] New Content Gallery Header

Availability: Beta Available for All Enterprise DAM customers

• We're happy to announce that, as part of this product update, customers using search relevancy will see the following enhancements to the content browsing experience:
  • UI improvements to the search bar, keyword search auto-complete, targeted search dropdown and the saved search creation journey.
  • Consolidation of filter and sort options into icon buttons.
  • Updates to the gallery view selector.
  • A bulk actions bar that is only surfaced when assets are selected. This results in a better user experience when performing multi-asset actions.

[BETA] Asset Details Page Redesign

Availability: Beta Available for All Enterprise DAM customers

• As part of this product update, the following enhancements have been made to the new asset details page:
  • The asset toolbar, located near the bottom of the asset preview, has been updated with a more modern look and feel. Additionally, the toolbar will now display persistently rather than only on hover.
  • Asset navigation arrows, which can be used for navigating between assets in a result set, have been added to the asset toolbar. Additionally, users can use their left and right keyboard arrows to navigate between assets while on the new asset details page.
  • Asset badges have been updated to be consistent with the display of badges in other areas of the application.

[BETA] List View Redesign

Availability: Beta Available for All Enterprise DAM customers

As part of this product update, we are excited to release a new version of list view as beta-available. The new list view includes an updated UI, resulting in a more modern look and feel. Additionally, the new list view allows users to configure the attributes used for their list view columns based on their individual preference.

To configure your list view column preferences:

1. Click the gear icon to the right of the gallery view selector.

2. Click the '-' icon to the right of a displayed column to remove it from your list view.

3. Search for your desired attribute and then click the '+' icon to add it as a list view column. (Attributes that exist within a table are not supported in List View at this time.)

4. Reorder your columns by clicking and dragging each attribute.

5. Click Save.

Previously configured list view column settings will not be supported in the new List View.

This feature will be automatically enabled in UAT. Please contact the Tenovos Customer Success team to enable this feature in Production

[BETA] Grid View Redesign

Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers as a Beta feature.

• As part of this product update, we are excited to release a few cosmetic changes to the new grid view. The filename and created date of the asset have been moved to the bottom of the asset card.

This feature will be automatically enabled in UAT. Please contact the Tenovos Customer Success team to enable this feature in Production

Search

Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers

• An update has been made to allow user emails to be hidden from typeahead suggestions in the search bar. Please reach out to the Tenovos Customer Success team if you would like emails hidden from typeahead suggestions when searching.
• An update has been made to search relevancy to allow for copy and pasting multiple file names into the search bar. To search on multiple file names, copy and paste the list into the search bar, and then set your targeted search selection to 'Within Filename'. (A reindex will be required to see this update)

REST API

Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers

Updates to the Create User API endpoint have been made to allow a user to be verified before their first login. Pass the 'isVerified' property with a value of 'true' to verify the user upon creation. This is only supported for customers who are using Auth0 authentication.

Collections Gallery

Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers

• As part of this product update, we are happy to roll out various functional and cosmetic enhancements to the Collections gallery.
  • The search header has been updated with a modernized look and feel, improving cleanliness and usability.
  • The collection name and details of the collection have been moved to the bottom of the collection card to maintain consistency with the way assets are displayed in grid view.

Jobs Page

Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers

• As part of this product update, we are happy to roll out various functional and cosmetic enhancements to the Jobs page, including:
  • Automatic job-status refresh. No more clicking refresh to fetch the latest status of your jobs.
  • Ability to filter jobs by job type, status and date.
  • Ability to sort jobs by job name, type, status
  • Significant performance improvements when downloading files (zip packages, error reports, metadata exports, etc.) from jobs.
  • Enhancements to the way we handle partially completed jobs:
    • If a job partially completed, the job will have a new status called 'Completed with Errors'.
    • Users will be able to click the 'Completed with Errors' pill, opening a side panel to give better visibility into the job's errors, without having to download the error report.

    Only partially completed jobs run after this deployment will contain the new 'Completed with Errors' status.

Webhooks

Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers

This product update introduces the following enhancements to webhook events:

• The asset.metadata.updated event now contains a property called 'previousValue', making it easy to understand not only what metadata template an asset was updated to, but also what it changed from. If the metadata template was updated as part of the metadata update, the previousValue object will contain the ID and Name of the metadata template the asset was updated from. If the metadata template was not updated, the ID and Name properties will be empty.
• To make it easy to understand the security template(s) assigned to an asset, the 'securityTemplates' property has been added to the following webhook events:
  • asset.created
  • asset.purged
  • asset.deleted
  • asset.restored
  • version.created
  • asset.renditions.created

Tenovos Connect

Availability: Enterprise DAM customers subscribed to Tenovos Connect

• As part of this update, we are excited to introduce On-Prem Agents in Tenovos Connect, enabling secure connectivity to both cloud and on-premise applications. On-Prem Agents are available as a premium add-on to your Tenovos Connect subscription, and your Customer Success Account Manager would be happy to walk you through capabilities and pricing.

Creative Editor

Availability: Enterprise DAM customers subscribed to Creative Editor

• The top navigation, consisting of options such as 'Adjustments', 'Filter', 'Affect' and 'Blur', has been updated from being left-aligned, to being center-aligned. This update was done to reduce crowding in the top-left corner of the interface.
• Once a crop is made to an asset, whether a custom crop or from a preset, users will see a new option in the crop details menu, where they can choose the crop fill option. Users can choose between common object-fit options, such as Crop, Cover and Fill.

Enhancements and Quality Improvements

• Resolved an issue where attribute values would show under the incorrect attribute column in a table if the table contained a large amount of columns. This was only cosmetic and the data was still assigned to the correct metadata attribute.

• Resolved an issue where some controlled vocabulary lists would contain a blank option when selecting metadata during a metadata edit.

• Resolved an issue where tiles would be set to disabled immediately after creation but will show as enabled after the page is refreshed.

• Resolved an issue where the assets in a download request form would appear to duplicate after the request form was submitted.

• Resolved an issue where Alpha Channels were being read incorrectly when generating previews for PSD files.

• Resolved an issue where certain HEIC files would not generate renditions.

• Resolved an issue where search results, when sorting by relevance, were not being returned in the expected order. (A reindex will be required to see this update)

• Resolved an issue where storage data on the 'Entitlements' page was not updating correctly when purging a large amount of assets from the recycle bin.

• Resolved an issue where tiles were not loading correctly when there were more than 100 tiles available to the user.

• Resolved an issue where the 'Proportion Lock' toggle was not working correctly in Creative Editor.

• Resolved an issue where banner style images with transparent backgrounds would generate a preview with a black background.

• Resolved an issue where the Retrieve Content Download Link API Endpoint would occasionally not return a pre-signed URL.

• Resolved an issue where the bulk action menu would occasionally not load after multiple assets were selected in the content gallery.

• Resolved an issue where, when attempting to replace the preview of one asset inside a collection or within cart, users would see all assets in the collection or cart receive the updated preview.

• Introduced a limit to the number of assets that can be deleted at once to avoid an issue with inconsistent and partially failed deletes. This limit will be raised or removed once a permanent fix for delete performance is delivered.
